CPD Education for Franchise Accountants

The Franchise Accountants Network also runs regular discussion groups and networking events for Accountants who work in, or serve the sector.

We focus on topics which are relevant at any particular point in time. The flagship event is the Franchise Accountants Conference, which is held each year, and regularly attracts 80 - 100 accountants. This conference is for CFO’s or senior managers who work within the sector, and for accountants in practice who have franchise clients.

Co-Founders

Peter Knight M.Ec, FCA, FCPA has been in practice for over 30 years, is a former President of CPA Australia (NSW) is a registered Tax Agent, author and regular presenter at conferences. He has years of experience in dealing with franchises, and acts for both franchisors as well as franchisees. He also co-founded Franchise Accounting and Tax, a practice which specialises in servicing franchise businesses.

Kate Groom B.A (Hons) MAICD has extensive experience in the franchise sector. Her roles have covered all aspects of franchising, and included Business Performance Manager for Kwik Kopy Australia and General Manager of Signwave Australia. She has established franchise benchmarking and financial education programs and is also widely published on franchising and business management.
